Mohammad Nordin has been fishing since his Primary School days. Learning by observing and practising, caught several fishes by the Little Guilin Lake. During his teens, he started Beach Surf Cast Fishing with his friends. Fascinated with the art of casting and bait presentation, his interest in Fishing grew even more. He participated in a local Surf Cast Fishing competition for the first time and came in 3rd among 300 participants. 

After National Service (2008), he chance upon kayak fishing with his friends. Using inflatable kayaks with various modification, it became a regular kayak fishing outings with friends. Catch results were much better.

In 2013, he decided to purchase his very first hard shell, leg pedal kayak from Nautic Adventure Sports. It has allowed him to kayak further and obtained better fishing results. Kayak Fishing became almost a weekly affair.

During the 2nd circuit breaker for Covid 19 pandemic, kayak fishing activities were allowed to be resumed. He invited his friends to try kayak fishing with him using a spare fishing kayak. They offered to pay and this gave him an idea of setting up a kayak fishing rental business. From 2 kayaks, it grew to 12 fishing kayaks to date.

Now known as Fish On or Abang Fish On, he is very active in social media, sharing valueable tips and contents relating to Kayak Fishing. Currently he is a partner for Shimano and a Hobie Ambassador. Nordin hopes to grow Kayak fishing sport in Singapore and share his experiences to everyone.
